High temperature binder/refractory mud is a good binder used in current construction blast furnaces, hot blast stoves, coke ovens, oil refining furnaces, electric furnaces, glass pool furnaces, power plant boilers, petrochemical industrial furnaces, as well as maintenance and repair. It is a refractory material with good workability, high temperature resistance, high bonding strength, good slag resistance, and nearly no shrinkage. High temperature binders are divided into two categories: air hardening and fire hardening. They are made of four materials: clay, high alumina, mullite, and corundum. Each material is classified as light or heavy. According to the material of the masonry product, the corresponding quality of high-temperature binder is selected.
